Priorities

As a dedicated planner and community advocate, I am deeply committed to tackling critical challenges that shape our daily lives. From championing affordable housing to fostering a sense of belonging through strong, connected communities, and reimagining transportation to ensure accessibility and safety for all, I am passionate about creating solutions that empower people and build a brighter future for our shared spaces.

  • I believe that housing is a fundamental right and should be accessible to people of all income levels, backgrounds, and circumstances. With rising housing costs and limited availability, I am committed to advocating for policies that promote the development of affordable housing options without compromising the character or cohesion of our community. I feel strongly about using human-first, equitable language when crafting housing policies to ensure that everyone feels valued and included in these conversations.

For me, housing is not just about providing shelter—it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and creating environments where individuals and families can truly thrive. I support initiatives that prioritize mixed-use developments and neighborhood designs that encourage social connection, as well as transportation solutions that make our communities more walkable and connected. I am also focused on addressing systemic barriers that prevent people from accessing housing and believe that we need to work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement innovative and sustainable solutions to meet housing demands.

  • I believe that strong, resilient communities are built on a foundation of inclusivity, connection, and shared purpose. For me, resilience means creating spaces where people from all walks of life feel a sense of belonging and are empowered to contribute to the community’s well-being. I am committed to fostering environments where open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect thrive. By addressing systemic challenges like housing, transportation, and access to resources, I believe we can create communities that not only withstand adversity but also adapt and grow stronger in the face of it.

At the heart of resilient communities is the idea of equity and fairness. I am passionate about ensuring that everyone has a voice and a stake in decisions that shape the future of our shared spaces. This includes advocating for inclusive planning processes, investing in infrastructure that supports connectivity, and promoting opportunities for people to engage with one another. I firmly believe that when communities prioritize human-first solutions and cultivate a sense of trust and belonging, they are better equipped to navigate challenges and embrace opportunities for collective growth.

  • I believe that strong transportation systems are the backbone of vibrant, connected communities. For me, this means prioritizing multi-modal forms of transportation that offer safe, accessible, and sustainable options for everyone. Whether it’s walking, biking, public transit, or driving, I believe people should have choices that meet their needs and allow them to move through their community with ease and confidence. I am particularly passionate about creating safer streets and infrastructure that make non-vehicle methods, like biking and walking, viable and enjoyable options.

Multi-modal transportation is not just about convenience—it’s about equity, sustainability, and fostering a sense of community. I am committed to advocating for designs that prioritize pedestrians and cyclists, reduce reliance on cars, and encourage public transit as a practical alternative. By investing in connected and inclusive transportation systems, we can reduce traffic, promote healthier lifestyles, and create more livable communities where everyone can participate fully, no matter how they choose to get around.
